Christine Mandala - Company Secretary

As a Board Secretary, she performs various administrative and corporate governance tasks in compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act such as taxation law, shareholder’s rights, business structure, statutory law, industrial and economics law applicable to the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensures effective and efficient implementation and execution of the management policies decided by the Board.
• Acts as a communicating channel between the top management i.e. board and the executives and coordinates the actions of the executives according to the directions given by the Board.
• Ensures the company works in accordance with the rules and regulations of the company’s policy.
• Ensures corporate governance norms are being complied with.
• Formulates decisions on which the structure of the company administration is constructed.
• Act as a secretary to the audit committee; ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements.
• Ensures compliance with listing agreements and responsible for monitoring the transfer of shares and reporting them to the Board in its meeting.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of the functional executives and can apply them to the benefit of the company.
• Arrange and manage the process of conducting the Annual General or Extra Ordinary General meetings and advise the matter of concerns to be raised at the board meetings for shareholder’s support and vote.

Dr CPA Nebert Mandala - Team Leader

The Board Chair, Dr CPA Nebert Mandala, holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration focusing in Finance and an MBA Finance both from the University of Nairobi and a First-Class Honour in Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Accounting) from Maseno University. He is also a CPA, CPS, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Professionally, he is a member of ICPAK, ICPSK, and ISACA.

He has extensive experience in Accounting and Finance, having held senior positions in both the private and public sectors. His previous experiences include as the Deputy CEO/Director Strategy & Shared Services at ICPAK. Previously, he worked at the University of Nairobi, UNES Ltd, and Maseno University. He has also undertaken numerous consultancy assignments and has also lectured at the University of Nairobi and KCAU amongst others. Currently working at the Auditor General’s office.

Eng. James M. Muli - Technical Team Leader

The Technical Team Leader holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil & Structural Engineering. Eng. James M. Muli has over 10 years’ experience covering major disciplines of civil engineering, including highway and structural design. He has vast experience in highway engineering and audit of road projects, building, water, and civil engineering and has been involved in many projects.

• Institute of Engineers of Kenya - Corporate Member
• NEMA - Associate Environmentalist

Eng. Violet Kalomba Nawire - Strategic Manager

Eng. Violet is a competent Strategic Manager in the construction sector who takes measures that ensure business sustainability and performance within the set standards of our organization, observing health, safety, quality, and cost in executing duties assigned within the stipulated time schedule as well as embracing the latest technology. She has an aggregate of 12 years in Project Management in the construction sector.

Career Profile & Summary of Qualifications:

• Post Graduate: Masters in Business Administration, Strategic Management, University of Nairobi
• Graduate: BSc. Civil Engineering, University of Nairobi
• Membership: Graduate Member Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK), Member of Project Management Institute (PMI), Kenya Chapter, Member Environmental Institute of Kenya (EIK)
